History Of Horizon State Bank
Horizon State Bank was established on July 16, 1886, originally under the name The Bank of Osborn. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and relocations. On June 5, 1989, the institution rebranded itself as Horizon State Bank and moved its main office to 814 North Walnut in Cameron, Missouri. In a significant organizational change, the bank's main office was again relocated on January 27, 2005. Ultimately, Horizon State Bank merged with Bank Northwest, located in Hamilton, Missouri, on August 1, 2018, becoming part of the larger banking institution.
