The bank relocated its main office to 100 North Meridian in Linden, Indiana, on June 30, 1984. Significant changes occurred on April 17, 2009, when the institution changed its name to Hoosier Heartland State Bank, acquired Farmers State Bank located in New Ross, Indiana, and moved its main office to 1400 Darlington Avenue in Crawfordsville, Indiana. On the same day, the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and withdrew from the membership of the Federal Reserve System, transitioning to a state-chartered bank.
