Hometown Bank is a commercial bank that was established on January 1, 1898, originally named Home Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the institution underwent several name and organizational changes. On May 31, 1989, it changed its name to Home Savings Bank and subsequently transitioned to a stock savings bank on July 31 of the same year. The institution rebranded as Hometown Bank on January 23, 2012.
