Home State Bank was established on January 1, 1915, and initially operated under that name. Throughout its history, the bank underwent several changes in its main office location, moving first to 202 Cherry Street in Louisville, Nebraska, on December 10, 1979, and later relocating to 218 Main Street in Louisville on September 8, 1998. After nearly a century of operation, Home State Bank merged with Pinnacle Bank, becoming a part of that institution on January 2, 2015, and marking the end of its independent operations in Lincoln, Nebraska.
