History Of Home State Bank
Home State Bank, established on April 1, 1950, originally operated under its founding name before undergoing several significant changes throughout its history. The bank's main office was first located at 935 Cleveland Avenue in Loveland, Colorado, and later moved to 300 East 29th Street in Loveland on October 12, 2002. On the same day, Home State Bank acquired American Bank, further expanding its operations. Subsequently, on November 26, 2007, the main office relocated to 2695 West Eisenhower Boulevard in Loveland. Reflecting a rebranding effort, the institution officially changed its name to The Home State Bank on March 21, 2012. In a series of mergers, The Home State Bank became part of Guaranty Bank and Trust Company in Denver, Colorado, on September 9, 2016. This transition continued when it merged with Independent Bank in McKinney, Texas, on January 1, 2019.
