Home Loan State Bank was established on December 16, 1960, originally under the name Home Loan Industrial Bank. At the time of its establishment, the institution was not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On September 28, 1987, it became FDIC insured, enhancing its credibility and stability as a financial institution. Over the years, the bank underwent significant changes; on January 5, 2004, its main office was relocated to 205 North 4th Street in Grand Junction, Colorado. Subsequently, on June 1, 2008, the institution changed its organizational structure to a commercial bank and adopted its current name, Home Loan State Bank.
