Home City Federal Savings Bank

Home City Federal Savings Bank was established on January 1, 1925, originally operating under the name Home City Federal Savings and Loan Association. The institution underwent a series of organizational changes, becoming a Mutual Savings Bank on May 1, 1996, and subsequently changing its name to Home City Federal Savings Bank of Springfield on the same day. On April 8, 2004, the main office relocated to 2454 North Limestone Street in Springfield, Ohio. A significant regulatory change occurred on July 21, 2011, when the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Ultimately, on December 7, 2018, Home City Federal Savings Bank merged with and became part of The Richwood Banking Company, headquartered in Richwood, Ohio.
