History Of Home Bank SB
Home Bank SB is a financial institution that was established in 1890 under the original name of Home Building Association. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and reorganizations. On October 24, 2006, the institution changed its name to Home Bank SB, while also converting its organization type to a Mutual Savings Bank and its bank class to a Federal Savings Bank, with the chartering agency changing to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). The main office moved to 59 West Washington Street in Martinsville, Indiana, on March 1, 1991. In 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency was changed to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
