High Point Bank was established on September 1, 1905, under the name High Point Savings & Trust Company. In a series of mergers, High Point Bank became part of Bank of North Carolina on November 1, 2016, which was located in Thomasville, North Carolina. Subsequently, on June 16, 2017, it merged with Pinnacle Bank, based in Nashville, Tennessee.
