History Of High Point Bank

High Point Bank was established on September 1, 1905, under the name High Point Savings & Trust Company. The institution underwent a significant name change on July 18, 1962, becoming known as High Point Bank and Trust Company. Over the decades, the bank relocated its main office several times within High Point, North Carolina, moving to 312 North Main Street on May 1, 1972, and later to 300 North Main Street on June 30, 1996. In a series of mergers, High Point Bank became part of Bank of North Carolina on November 1, 2016, which was located in Thomasville, North Carolina. Subsequently, on June 16, 2017, it merged with Pinnacle Bank, based in Nashville, Tennessee.
