History Of Heritage Bank
Heritage Bank, National Association, was established on October 8, 1964, originally operating under the name Citizens National Bank of Willmar in Willmar, Minnesota. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes and expansions. On October 1, 1984, it rebranded itself as Heritage Bank National Association. The bank continued to grow by acquiring other financial institutions, including the State Bank of Pennock and The Citizens National Bank of Madelia on October 17, 1989. It relocated its main office to 310 Southwest 1st Street in Willmar, Minnesota, on October 7, 1996, and then moved again on March 24, 2003, to 110 West South Street in Spicer, Minnesota. Further expanding its reach, Heritage Bank acquired Farmers' State Bank of Raymond in Raymond, Minnesota, on October 9, 2004, and later acquired Heritage Bank, National Association in Holstein, Iowa, on July 1, 2011.
