Haven Savings Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1938, originally under the name Haven Savings and Loan Association. Over the decades, the bank underwent several organizational and regulatory changes. On July 31, 1988, it changed its name to Haven Savings Bank, Sla, and later on October 1, 1993, it officially adopted the name Haven Savings Bank while also changing its organizational type to a Mutual Savings Bank and designating the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as its primary federal regulatory agency.
