History Of Hartford Savings Bank
Hartford Savings Bank was established on January 1, 1916, under the name Hartford Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the institution underwent several organizational changes, including a transition to a mutual savings bank and a name change to Hartford Savings Bank, both of which occurred on December 31, 1992. The bank's main office was relocated to 55 East Sumner Street in Hartford, Wisconsin, on the same date. Subsequently, on December 10, 1997, the main office moved again to 1400 Schauer Drive in Hartford, Wisconsin. However, after nearly a century of operation, Hartford Savings Bank voluntarily closed and liquidated its assets on February 28, 2014.
