History Of Harford Bank
Harford Bank, originally established as Aberdeen National Bank on May 1, 1964, has undergone several name changes and regulatory adjustments throughout its history. On June 5, 1972, the institution changed its name to Aberdeen National Bank. This was followed by a rebranding to Harford National Bank on December 8, 1980. In 2001, the bank once again changed its name to Harford Bank and transitioned to being regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System and changing to a state-chartered bank on July 2.
