Guardian Savings Bank is a financial institution that was established in 1895 under the original name Guardian Savings Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes in its regulatory status and organizational structure. On October 31, 1976, Guardian Savings Bank acquired the Colerain Savings and Loan Association located in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1990, the bank transitioned to a mutual savings bank and changed its name to Guardian Savings Bank, A Federal Savings Bank, with the Office of Thrift Supervision as its primary federal regulatory agency. In 1992, the organization type changed to a stock savings bank. The bank's main office moved to 6100 West Chester Road in West Chester, Ohio, on November 11, 2010. Subsequently, on July 21, 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency changed to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
