Greenfield Savings Bank is a financial institution established on March 19, 1869, originally under the name Greenfield Savings Bank. The bank initially operated without Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insurance. On November 4, 1985, Greenfield Savings Bank became FDIC insured and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the FDIC. The institution expanded its capabilities by changing its trust powers to full on February 26, 1992. In 2005, the bank transitioned to a stock savings bank organization type on May 28.
