History Of Greater Hudson Bank

Greater Hudson Bank was established on October 15, 2002, originally under the name Community Bank of Orange, N.A. The bank underwent a series of regulatory and structural changes between 2002 and 2015. On May 29, 2015, it adopted the name Greater Hudson Bank and transitioned to a state-chartered bank, initially remaining a member of the Federal Reserve System. However, later that same day, the bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System and changed its primary regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On October 28, 2015, the main office of the bank was relocated to 715 Route 304 in Bardonia, New York. After operating for several years, Greater Hudson Bank merged with ConnectOne Bank on January 2, 2019, becoming part of the ConnectOne Bank entity based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
