Greater Delaware Valley Savings Bank was established on January 1, 1924, originally named Greater Delaware Valley Savings and Loan Association. On March 3, 1995, it formally changed its organization type to a stock savings bank. The bank’s main office was relocated to 541 Lawrence Road in Broomall, Pennsylvania, on the same day. Ultimately, on October 9, 2015, Greater Delaware Valley Savings Bank merged with Wilmington Savings Fund Society, Fsb, located in Wilmington, Delaware, marking the end of its independent operations.
