History Of Granite Bank
Granite Bank is a financial institution that was established in 1902 as The First National Bank of Cold Spring, located in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes, including multiple name alterations and relocations of its main office. In 1990, the main office moved to Main Street in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Subsequent changes included a move to 301 Main Street on June 1, 2010, and later to 202 2nd Avenue South on March 19, 2014. The bank rebranded to Granite Community Bank on July 15, 2013, and later changed its name to Granite Bank on December 12, 2021. That same year, it also transitioned to being regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and became a state-chartered bank, withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System.
