HISTORY OF GRAND SAVINGS BANK
Grand Savings Bank, originally established as Grand Savings and Loan Association on April 10, 1981, underwent several name and structural changes throughout its history. In 1984, the institution changed its name to Grand Federal Savings Bank and shifted its organization type to a Stock Savings Bank. The bank was chartered by the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). On January 1, 1993, the main office was relocated to 1022 South Main Street in Grove, Oklahoma, and it was rebranded as Grand Federal Savings Bank. On November 30, 2001, the bank transitioned to a commercial bank model, adopting the name Grand Savings Bank, and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), while also becoming a state-chartered bank, no longer a member of the Federal Reserve System. The institution further expanded in December 2014 with the acquisition of Decatur State Bank in Decatur, Arkansas. Most recently, on September 25, 2015, the bank officially changed its name to Grand Savings Bank.
