Grand Bank & Trust of Florida was established on February 1, 1999, originally operating under the name Grand Bank of Florida. On July 2, 2001, the institution expanded its services by changing its trust powers to full. Shortly thereafter, on August 27, 2001, the bank adopted the name Grand Bank & Trust of Florida. After serving the financial needs of the community for several years, the bank merged with Seacoast National Bank on July 17, 2015, at which point it became part of this larger banking entity located in Stuart, Florida.
