Later, on December 31, 2013, Georgia Commerce Bank acquired Brookhaven Bank in Atlanta, Georgia. The bank's trajectory continued with its merger into Iberiabank on June 1, 2015, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Finally, on July 2, 2020, Georgia Commerce Bank merged with First Horizon Bank, located in Memphis, Tennessee, becoming part of a larger banking institution.
