GE Capital Bank

GE Capital Bank was established on February 12, 1993, originally named Everest National Financial. The institution underwent a name change to GE Capital Financial Inc. on September 1, 1994. Over the years, the bank moved its main office several times, with a significant relocation to 4246 Riverboat Road in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 31, 2006. Subsequently, the main office moved again to Holladay, Utah, on December 1, 2008, and then to 6510 Millrock Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, in multiple stages throughout 2009 and 2011. On June 11, 2012, the bank rebranded as GE Capital Bank. The main office was relocated to its final address at 6510 Millrock Drive, Suite #200, Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 16, 2012. After operating for several years under this name, GE Capital Bank voluntarily closed and liquidated its assets on April 21, 2016.
