In the late 1980s, the bank expanded through acquisitions, including the purchase of Security State Bank in Roosevelt, Oklahoma, on August 6, 1987, followed by the acquisition of The First National Bank of Tipton in Tipton, Oklahoma, on September 3, 1987.
