History Of Franklin Bank
Franklin Bank is a financial institution established on January 1, 1861, originally named The Franklin Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and regulatory modifications. On December 1, 1988, it became known as The Franklin Savings Bank, S.L.A. In 2007, the bank changed its name to Franklin Bank and relocated its main office to 1179 Route 40, Pilesgrove, New Jersey. This was followed by a change in chartering agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). In 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency was switched to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
