History Of Foxboro Federal Savings
Foxboro Federal Savings was established in 1889 under the name Foxboro Federal Savings and Loan Association. Throughout its history, the institution underwent several significant changes. In 1989, it relocated its main office to One Central Street in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The organization rebranded as Foxboro Federal Savings on January 15, 2004, on the same day when it also moved its main office to the same address. In July 2011, the institution's primary federal regulatory agency changed to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. On December 2, 2022, Foxboro Federal Savings merged with Norwood Co-operative Bank, located in Norwood, Massachusetts. Following the merger, the institution officially changed its name to OneLocal Bank on April 24, 2023.
