History Of Fox Valley Savings Bank
Fox Valley Savings Bank is a financial institution established on October 1, 1934, under the original name Fox Valley Savings and Loan Association. Over the decades, the bank has undergone several changes in organization type and regulatory oversight. On February 9, 2001, it changed its name to Fox Valley Savings Bank and transformed from a mutual savings bank to a federal savings bank chartered by the Office of Thrift Supervision. The bank's regulatory status shifted on July 21, 2011, when it became regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. However, on June 23, 2021, Fox Valley Savings Bank transitioned to being supervised by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), reorganizing as an FDIC Supervised State Savings Bank. The institution relocated its main office to 51 East 1st Street in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, on June 23, 2021, and again on December 31, 2022, when it changed its organization type to a Stock Savings Bank.
