Fox Chase Bank

Fox Chase Bank was established in 1868 as the Fox Chase Federal Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, it underwent several significant changes in its structure and regulatory status. In 1990, the institution changed its name to Fox Chase Federal Savings Bank and transitioned to a mutual savings bank organization. Following that, the main office relocated from Philadelphia to Hatboro, Pennsylvania, on February 14, 1997. In 1999, the bank adopted the name Fox Chase Bank. In subsequent years, the bank changed its regulatory agency multiple times, first shifting to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in 2011, and then to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in December 2013. On July 1, 2016, Fox Chase Bank merged with Univest Bank and Trust Co., based in Souderton, Pennsylvania, marking the end of its separate existence.
