Forcht Bank, National Association, is a financial institution that was established on October 1, 2002, originally under the name First National Bank of Lexington. The bank underwent a significant transformation when it changed its name to Forcht Bank on December 31, 2007. This period also marked a substantial growth phase for the institution, as it acquired multiple banks, including Eagle Bank, Inc., Deposit Bank & Trust Co., and Tri-County National Bank, among others, all on the same day. Over the years, Forcht Bank continued to expand its presence through various acquisitions, such as Boone National Bank and Somerset National Bank, also in 2007. In 2014, the bank further broadened its scope by acquiring Grant County Deposit Bank in Williamstown, Kentucky.
