History Of Foothills Bank
Foothills Bank was established on November 3, 1997, under the original name The Foothills Bank. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes and expansions. On September 21, 2009, Foothills Bank acquired Yuma Community Bank located in Yuma, Arizona. This was followed by the acquisition of Summit Bank in Prescott, Arizona, on July 15, 2011, as part of a government-assisted merger. Subsequently, the bank changed its name to The Foothills Bank on September 23, 2011. On May 1, 2017, The Foothills Bank merged with Glacier Bank, which is based in Kalispell, Montana. Ultimately, on January 1, 2018, the institution changed its name to Glacier Bank, reflecting its integration into the Glacier Bank network.
