Flagship Bank Minnesota

Flagship Bank Minnesota, originally established as The Sibley County Bank in 1875, underwent several name changes and acquisitions throughout its history. On April 18, 1994, the institution was renamed Community Bank Henderson, and later it became Community Bank Jordan on September 15, 1997. The main office was relocated to Jordan, Minnesota, in the same year. In the subsequent years, the bank continued to evolve; it changed its name to Community Bank Minnesota Valley on August 31, 1999, after acquiring Community Bank St. Peter. The bank later adopted the name Flagship Bank Minnesota on October 16, 2006, coinciding with a move of its main office to Wayzata, Minnesota. In addition to its growth through name changes, Flagship Bank Minnesota expanded its operations by acquiring other banks, including Flagship Bank Winsted in April 2013 and Landmark Community Bank, National Association, in October 2016. The main office also shifted locations within Wayzata during this period. Ultimately, on April 19, 2024, Flagship Bank Minnesota merged and became part of Security Bank & Trust Company, based in Glencoe, Minnesota.
