Firstrust Savings Bank is a financial institution that has undergone several name changes and operational shifts since its inception. Originally established as the First Financial Mutual Savings Bank, the institution changed its name to Firstrust Savings Bank on April 1, 1986. On March 19, 1986, it became insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), marking a significant change in its regulatory framework. Following a series of organizational changes in 1979, the institution relinquished its FDIC insurance and transitioned to a mutual savings bank model. In 2008, the bank modified its trust powers to limited status, and in 2017, it officially adopted the name Firstrust Savings Bank.
