No one bothered to answer the phone when I called several times. No wonder the banks are going to collapse! Shame on you !
We mailed a Affidavit of Forgery of Signature to your Branch on February 12, 2024., I, Linda Carpenter my wife, have heard nothing from you. What is the status of the Affidavit?? Sincerely Ken Horner
I have not been to this bank, without having to wait a long time in line. Recently, I went to cash a check for $1,200 and was there 20 minutes. The girl at the counter was so nice, but didn't have the authority to cash it. So, she asked a supervisor to come over and help her. That lady was giving wrapped coins to a person in the drive up and could only send a few at a time. Finally, she came over and they had to go to ANOTHER lady to get permission to cash the check! It was absolutely ridiculous. I have been a customer at First Bank since 1979. Ugh! I was so angry! I asked why they had to get 3 people to approve $1,000 and she said there has been a lot of fraud lately. Can't you just look up my record at the bank? Awful, just awful. Won't go to that location again.
After 5 years banking with First bank for 2 of my businesses, I've had enough! While the services offered are fine, I never once have felt like anyone there cared to know me personally or appreciated my hard earned money that I kept in their bank. You would think that a bank should appreciate customers who transacted nearly a million dollars a year through their bank. The final straw was the rudest most impersonal interaction with the branch manager who made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. If a personal supportive bank for your business is what you are looking for Fist Bank is not the bank for you.
Went in to settle my sister's financial affairs she passed away in March. I was given totally wrong information and told I needed to go to the county and get some special form so I could collect her estate. I came home after being in tears at the bank told them I still thought I was right and they were wrong. The manager helping me informed me I was right and the money is all settled. They did not bother to call and tell me that. I can't drive and if I would have had to make a trip to Greeley, they thought I was rude in the bank, I would have made an even bigger scene. Except it is convenient I would pull all the money I have from there. They have been no help at all through this horrible time in my life. When it was a small bank in the heart of Erie, the staff would have never treated me like this. They should be ashamed.
I would like to bring to your attention a wonderful Assistant Branch Manager, Linda Alders. I can't say enough wonderful things about her and would like First Bank to know what an asset she is to your Evergreen branch. She is knowledgeable, wise, calm and caring. We lost our home to a fire in 2020 and I lost my husband to Covid on Easter 2021. She has been there for me and has been so very helpful. I would like to acknowledge her and bring attention to the wonderful service she has provided me. She is one in a million and needs to be recognized. Sally Brant

I would like to compliment Savannah Leigh for excellent customer service yesterday at this branch on 44th and Wadsworth. My business partner and are were jumping through the hoops of getting him added to our accounts and streamlining our business banking processes. She nagivated us through the process well and helped guide a couple novices through our options. Excellent to work with!
This is the absolute best bank I have ever banked at. If you ever need to call them you get a live person who is helpful and knowledgable. There is no transferring around and getting put on hold. I usually go to either the Evergreen or Aspen Park branch, where once again a live person always answers the phone and everyone there goes above and beyond to help. Everyone there seems to know what they are doing, love their jobs, and are truly there to help.
This branch is horrible. I chose to go there to open a checking account, mainly because they're close to my house. I was turned down with no reason and was handed a form letter.
The specialist that tried to assist me was pleasant but she had to do as instructed. The general atmosphere at that branch is that they're doing you a favour. They don't seem to understand that it's those of us that choose them that keep them in business. Cavalier and cold attitude. The vast parking lot that surrounds the bank - not good. It's a favorite place for homeless, druggies and pan handlers to hang out. Choose a different banking institution to handle your financial needs... 10 thumbs down for that place.
