History Of First State Bank
First State Bank was established on April 1, 1939, in Waukomis, Oklahoma. Throughout its history, the bank underwent several changes in its operational structure and location. On February 16, 2001, the main office moved from its original location to 100 North Main Street in Waukomis. Subsequently, on May 26, 2006, the main office was relocated again to 309 South Ranchwood Boulevard in Yukon, Oklahoma. After more than seven decades of operation, First State Bank merged with InterBank on March 7, 2015, becoming part of the larger financial institution based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
