First State Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1911, originally named The First State Bank of New London, Wisconsin. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes and acquisitions, marking its growth in the region. On July 1, 1989, it expanded its operations by acquiring Bank One, Clintonville, National Association in Clintonville, Wisconsin. In 1990, the institution changed its name to First State Bank. Significant expansions continued with the acquisition of Farmers and Merchants Bank in Rudolph, Wisconsin, on January 21, 2017, followed by the acquisition of Pioneer Bank in Auburndale, Wisconsin, on February 22, 2020.
