First State Bank was established on January 9, 1964, under its original name. Throughout its history, the bank underwent a significant name change on November 16, 1971, rebranding as First State Bank. In 2008, the bank moved its main office to 200 Pine Street in Crossett, Arkansas. The bank's independent operations came to an end on April 1, 2020, when it merged and became part of Commercial Capital Bank, located in Delhi, Louisiana.
