On the same day, the main office was relocated to 201 North Third Street in Beresford, South Dakota. The bank acquired multiple institutions, including Sun World Federal Savings Bank in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on December 31, 1995, and Home Federal Savings Bank of New Mexico in Deming, New Mexico, on March 3, 1995. Further acquisitions included The Roberts County National Bank of Sisseton in Sisseton, South Dakota, on December 14, 2018, and Western Bank in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on April 1, 2019. In July 2011, First Savings Bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
