History Of First Robinson Savings Bank
First Robinson Savings Bank, established in 1884 under the name First Robinson Savings and Loan, is a financial institution located in Robinson, Illinois. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes. On March 20, 1990, it changed its name to First Robinson Savings and Loan, F.A., while also moving its main office to 102 East Main Street, Robinson, Illinois 62454, and shifting its chartering agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). On June 27, 1997, the bank adopted the new name First Robinson Savings Bank, National Association, and transitioned to a commercial bank. This change resulted in a new primary federal regulatory agency, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Additionally, the institution became a member of the Federal Reserve System on the same date. Most recently, on September 17, 2008, First Robinson Savings Bank changed its trust powers to full.
