First Northern Bank of Wyoming, originally established as The First National Bank of Buffalo on February 2, 1885, is a financial institution located in Buffalo, Wyoming. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes. On February 23, 1990, it relocated its main office to Main Street in Buffalo, Wyoming. On June 30, 2012, the institution changed its name to First Northern Bank of Wyoming and transitioned its regulatory oversight to the Federal Reserve System as a state-chartered bank. The bank's primary federal regulatory agency was also changed to the Federal Reserve on this date. Following these changes, the main office was moved again on May 28, 2010, to 141 South Main Street in Buffalo, Wyoming. Most recently, on March 25, 2023, First Northern Bank of Wyoming acquired the First State Bank of Newcastle in Newcastle, Wyoming.
