History Of First National Bank of the Lakes

First National Bank of the Lakes was established on May 1, 1964, originally under the name First National Bank of Navarre. The institution underwent a name change on February 1, 1983, becoming First National Bank of Navarre. On September 30, 1989, the main office was relocated to 2445 Shadywood Road in Navarre, Minnesota. After several years of operation, the bank rebranded to First National Bank of the Lakes. On May 21, 2016, the main office was moved to 2445 Shadywood Road, Orono, Minnesota, and the bank merged with Bridgewater Bank located in Bloomington, Minnesota, thus becoming part of that institution.
