First National Bank of Muscatine

The First National Bank of Muscatine was established on January 1, 1934, originally operating under the name Muscatine Bank and Trust Company. On February 28, 1966, the institution underwent significant changes, including a name change to First National Bank of Muscatine, a shift in its classification to a national bank, and membership in the Federal Reserve System, with its chartering agency changing to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
