First National Bank

First National Bank was established on November 28, 1969, under the original name The First National Bank of McHenry. Over the years, the institution underwent several mergers. On July 19, 2019, it merged with Blackhawk Bank, located in Beloit, Wisconsin, becoming a part of that larger banking entity. Most recently, on December 1, 2023, First National Bank merged again and became part of First Mid Bank & Trust, National Association in Mattoon, Illinois.
