In addition to these expansions, the bank's main office moved to 202 Main Street in Chadron, Nebraska, on February 26, 1990. Ultimately, on July 1, 2021, First National Bank merged with Homestead Bank, which is based in Cozad, Nebraska, marking the end of its independent operations.
