History Of First National Bank
First National Bank was established on September 1, 1905, originally as The First National Bank of Linn Creek. Over the years, the bank underwent several name and location changes. On November 12, 1946, it changed its name to First National Bank of Linn Creek, Camdenton. In 1979, the main office was relocated to 105 North Highway 5 in Camdenton, Missouri. The bank continued to operate under the name First National Bank, officially adopting this name on May 1, 1984. On February 4, 2008, the main office moved again to 117 North State Highway 5 in Camdenton. Ultimately, on May 1, 2018, First National Bank merged with Oakstar Bank in Springfield, Missouri, becoming part of a larger banking institution.
