History Of First National Bank and Trust
First National Bank and Trust was established on April 3, 1903, originally operating under the name The National Bank of London. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes. On October 23, 1980, it expanded its services by changing its trust powers to full. Four years later, on November 5, 1984, the bank rebranded itself as First National Bank and Trust. The main office was relocated to Main Street in London, Kentucky, on March 20, 1990, and later moved again on June 1, 2010, to 202 South Main Street in London, Kentucky. The bank's operations continued until it merged with Commercial Bank in Harrogate, Tennessee, on February 1, 2020.
