First Mutual Bank, FSB, is a mutual savings bank with a history dating back to its establishment in 1906 as the Doolin Federal Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the institution underwent several name and organizational changes. On September 4, 1990, it changed its name to Doolin Security Savings Bank, FSB, and also transitioned to a mutual savings bank organization type. The bank's main office was relocated multiple times, moving from 251 Main Street in New Martinsville, West Virginia, to 610 North State Route 2 in New Martinsville in July 2003. In July 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency for the bank was changed to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The institution continued its evolution by moving its main office again to 605 Washington Boulevard in Belpre, Ohio, and on January 1, 2018, it acquired Belpre Savings Bank and adopted the name First Mutual Bank, FSB, marking a significant milestone in its history.
