History Of First Home Bank
First Home Bank was established on January 1, 1911, originally under the name The Home Building and Loan Association. The organization underwent several changes over the years; on September 21, 1990, it rebranded as First Home Savings Bank and transitioned to a stock savings and loan organization on December 22, 1993. Further restructuring occurred on July 21, 2011, when the primary federal regulatory agency changed to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On January 22, 2014, the institution officially changed its name to First Home Bank and altered its organizational structure to become a commercial bank, classifying as a state-chartered bank and opting out of membership with the Federal Reserve System. On October 10, 2015, the main office relocated to 207 West 3rd Street in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Ultimately, First Home Bank merged with Stockmens Bank in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on October 1, 2017.
