I started calling the Main Branch the second week of April to inform them I was working on a consolidation loan with another bank. My mortgage loan and an auto loan were to be paid off by the other institution. I informed the bank the first closing date was the first of May. The main branch did not release pay-off amounts on these loans, delaying our closing. I finally called the Main branch the second week of May to see if I could get further than my POA. The payoff amounts were released the end of May. Closing is now set for 2 days from now. Without notification they withdrew an auto payment. When I called to speak to Cyndi in collections about this transaction, it is clear the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing at this institution. Neither of my accounts had been noted from my previous calls and Cyndi had some male bully tell me I did not answer my phone when Cyndi called and they would not return the deposit. I am a senior citizen and do not have a fancy phone. I do not have voice mail nor am I tech savvy. I work in health care and will not answer my phone during the day when I am with patients. Shame on you First Financial. I have never liked all of your hidden fees and because of this incident, I will be removing all of my funds and closing all of my accounts. Stay away from this bank.
Predatory NSF fees are one of the reasons I am closing my account at this institution. They said and I quote "its a standard fee and even if you are negative 1 cent, you get charged a $38.00 fee." This is contrary to regulatory guidelines and injures lower income people the most. Their ESG rating is a joke and this is in no way an equitable practice.

A shout out for Julie Cain who took care of my car loan needs. She was very helpful and informative a very nice lady whom was a pleasure to do business with. Thank you for hiring people like that.
Five years ago I moved to the area and had an after tax ira rolled into the bank. At that time I added $2000.00 after tax dollars to the account. After the five year term I took my money out before it rolled for another term. They gave me paperwork claiming that my account was pre tax instead and reported it as income even though I have paid income tax on all but the interest. Don't trust them to set things up right..
I would like to personally think y'all on how ya help me management my Finance and you even sent me a birthday card that was so sweet every problem that I have a head Debrandt subject or the 800 number and I think y'all and y'all are my bank.
I suspect that the work atmosphere may not be good for the part time employees. I try to make their experience happier and relieve stress. Why is it that men have not worked there for many years? Please solve this. Thank you.
Trying to find some information on a fundraiser account that was withdrawn 5 years ago, and the thief did not have the right. Danville Mayor Scott Eisenhauer was supposed to investigate this, as I filed a formal complaint, and I want to know what has become of it, as it was for us and several people, but it was opened in my bosses name, and one day he just took off with all of the money. It was for the victims of the Oaklawn Inn annex fire, it was closed at the end of July, 2012, by Dan, my boss, at the Danville Bar and Grill who lost nothing in the fire as he did not live there, we were homeless, and he just took the funds and disappeared with the money. I am trying to get to the bottom of this, as I just seen him in town 2 days ago, He is a criminal and I want this solved, as he took from homeless, yet has gotten housing at Cannon house here. Please let us know how we can get the amount that was stolen and the date the account was closed, message me and I will gladly provide more information, thank you. I am not trying to be a jerk, but nothing was ever done about this horrible act, and I am already talking to the news about this. I will get the bank involved in this if I have to. Please message with the info, I know this is not your issue, but the money was for us, who lost everything, and a thief should not have been able to get away with this, as it was broadcast on tv and in the newspaper for us, this makes it a public issue and everyone who was involved shares some resposibility. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
