History Of First Federal Community Bank
First Federal Community Bank, National Association, is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1898, originally under the name First Federal Savings Bank of Dover. Over the years, the bank underwent several name and organizational changes. On June 30, 1996, it relocated its main office to 321 North Wooster Avenue in Dover, Ohio, and subsequently changed its organization type to a Stock Savings Bank on April 2, 1996. The bank was renamed First Federal Community Bank on August 31, 2001. On July 21, 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency for the bank changed to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. A significant restructuring occurred on February 24, 2012, when the bank changed its institution name to First Federal Community Bank, National Association, transitioned to a commercial bank, and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. Most recently, on March 13, 2023, the main office was moved to 141 West Ohio Avenue in Dover, Ohio.
