HISTORY OF FIRST DELTA BANK
First Delta Bank was established on October 17, 1951, originally under the name Tyronza Bank. The institution underwent a significant name change on October 19, 1990, adopting the name First Delta Bank. Over the years, First Delta Bank evolved its regulatory status, becoming a member of the Federal Reserve System and changing its classification to a state-chartered bank on July 1, 2011. On the same day, it transitioned its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve. The bank's main office was relocated to 214 Hester Parker Drive in Marked Tree, Arkansas, on April 23, 2001. Ultimately, First Delta Bank merged with Armor Bank on November 25, 2019, and ceased to operate as an independent entity in Forrest City, Arkansas.
