First Community Financial Bank

First Community Financial Bank was established on November 3, 2008, under the name First Community Bank of Plainfield in Plainfield, Illinois. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and acquisitions. On January 3, 2011, it changed its name to First Community Bank of Plainfield, and by March 12, 2013, it further rebranded as First Community Financial Bank while acquiring multiple financial institutions, including Burr Ridge Bank and Trust, First Community Bank of Homer Glen & Lockport, and First Community Bank of Joliet on the same day. The bank expanded its operations with the acquisition of Mazon State Bank in Mazon, Illinois, on July 1, 2016, and in December of the same year, the main office relocated to 2801 Black Road in Joliet, Illinois. Ultimately, First Community Financial Bank merged into Busey Bank on November 3, 2017, becoming part of the larger banking institution headquartered in Champaign, Illinois.
